Kids Introduction to Sewing July 6th & 7th

Our kid's beginner workshops are perfect for those who have never sewn before and/or want to try something new and exciting.

Our kids workshops are held over 2 consecutive days in the June/July school holidays, with both morning and afternoon sessions available.

Morning sessions are 9am to 12noon 

Afternoon sessions are 1pm to 4pm

Machines are available to use and the hire cost is included in the fee. However, you are more than welcome to bring along your own machine if you wish.

Our beginner workshops will cover the following:

• Get to know the machine
• Threading the machine and winding a bobbin
• Changing needles
• Simple sewing stitches
• Sewing tools we recommend to get you started
• How to read a PDF pattern
• We'll show you how to make a personalised, quilted tech case.
  

What do you need to bring?

• Enclosed shoes are a must.
  

What is included in our workshops?

• Sewing machines provided.
• Use of sewing tools (ie scissors, pins, thread etc)
• All Fabric and notions 
  
• Personalisation (Optional)
• handouts and a PDF pattern to take home
• A total of 6 hours of fun and laughter over 2 days
  

 Our workshops are held at our North Lakes warehouse on Brisbane's north side.

*Dates and times are subject to change at our discretion. All registered attendees will be notified and given priority to rebook should a change occur.

*Cancellations are not accepted as bookings are non-refundable. Bookings can be rescheduled to the next available workshop if you are unable to attend.
